Corucia Zebrata - my family of Prehensile -Tailed Skinks. Top left is Aru (the Mom), top right is Goblin (Aru's off-spring, and guess when he was born?). These are the original two of the "group" of Prehinsile-Tailed Skinks that now inhabit the tree of the Main display that occupies the center of my animal room.
Below, Goblin looks like he is actually smiling.

More of the "Family Portraits" below. First is Chris. He is named after Christopher Columbus. This Chris is maintain his namesakes' reputation as an adventurous explorer. Every night when the lights go out, Chris strikes out. That would be as in "jail break." That is why he is sleeping in this photo. Resting up for the next night of "exploring.'He tries all the time to escape and explore brave new worlds. He never wanders far if he gets out. In fact he has never even left the animal room once he has found yet another way to get over the glass. He just finds a near by plant, lays in it, and waits for me to find him and put him back in the tree. Cute, huh? Actually he really is kind of cute, and his very nature has endeared me to him.
Meet more of the "Family.' They are, in order of the photos below, Sunny (named for the large "sun spot' looking mark under his chin); Lucy, as in Lucille Ball, the other famous "red head"; Cass (yes, she is a big "mamma" for you "Mammas, and Poppa's" fans); Livingston last, but no longer lost (as in "Dr. Livingston, I presume?".) Livingston spent almost two weeks foraging around the  house, nibbling on the house plants, and drinking out of the small fountain in the living room, before finally being found.
Lucy is unhappy with my intrusion.
Sunny
Cass
Livingston, I presume.
Last, but certainly not least, Maggie.
